Dear Colleagues,

In my second year of medical school, I was unexpectedly diagnosed with lymphoma—an experience that profoundly reshaped my perspective on medicine and the patient journey. Although I was fortunate to achieve a full recovery following radiation therapy, I witnessed firsthand how the impact of serious illness extends far beyond the individual, deeply affecting loved ones and the broader community. Like many, my story reflects the far-reaching toll that disease takes on patients, families, and those who support them.
